robert hartingRobert Harting (born 8 October 1984 in Cottbus) is a German discus thrower who loves to take his shirt off and wrap himself in the flag.  I say what puny flag could hold those mighty muscles? This page ended up with a lot of tennis star John Isner. Then I built a whole extra page for him. So see more John Isner in his own gallery.

The same thing happened with 6'3" 75 lb. Novak Djokovic who has pictures here and in his own gallery

Also on this page:  Zdeno Chara (born March 8, 1977) is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenseman. He is the captain of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL) and won the Norris Trophy while playing for them in 2008-09. At 6 ft. 9 inches (2.06 m), he is the tallest player ever to play in the NHL.   Before he was drafted in the NHL, back in Slovakia, his coaches told him that he was better off playing basketball instead, due to his great size. Due to his height, he plays hockey with a stick 2" longer than NHL regulations. He gets a waiver from the NHL for it. Zdeno Chara married his long-time girlfriend Tatiana Biskupicov on July 14, 2007, in a Catholic church in Nemov, Slovakia. Tatiana gave birth to the couple's first child, daughter Elliz Victoria Chara (or Chrov), on April 27, 2009. His father, Zdeněk Chra, was a prominent Greco-Roman wrestler.] Chara is an Athletic Ambassador for Right to Play. In July 2008, he spent two weeks in Africa, going to Mozambique in support of the charity, and then climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with fellow NHL player Robyn Regehr. Chara is a polyglot, as he speaks seven languages: Slovak, Czech, Polish, Swedish, Russian, German and English. He also has a financial planning diploma from Ottawa's Algonquin College.

Richie Gray is a former Scottish rugby player, and television presenter.

GIANT  BUFF HANDBALLER NIKOLA KARABATIC SINGS "YMCA"
Here's a video featuring 6'5" Serbian handball player Nikola Karabatic and Vid Kavticnik singing the 970's hit "YMCA."  Yes, that song about how much fun it is to meet and pick up men at the Young Men's Christian Association while you are homeless.   As a fan of all-male choreography I am so glad to see shirtless giants dancing but ... do they even KNOW what this song is about in English? I'm told that they do. Oh well, fun to make letters with your body! Nikola plays on a French team and so does his "little" brother Luka Karabatic who is as tall as Nikola.  I don't know what handball is but it sure keeps them in great shape.  It better be like volleyball, because that is where I filed him. And I don't want him to have to change careers just for me.  They've done that, you know.
